The Housing Alliance Update & Announcements is a bi-weekly electronic newsletter to keep you up-to-date about everything the Housing Alliance is doing to win in 2009 — and how you can get involved!

Our bill increasing the document recording fee for affordable housing is scheduled for a hearing and work session next Monday, February 2nd. The hearing will be at 8AM in the House Revenue Committee. We're hopeful that the bill will move quickly on to hearings in the Ways and Means Transportation and Economic Development Subcommittee.

Remember that you can track legislative action on the State Legislature's web site. They even give you the option of automatic updates through an RSS feed. You can also read about it on the State Legislature's Bills and Laws page.
