About the Housing Alliance

The Oregon Housing Alliance was established in 2004 and is now home to over 100 member organizations, including:
- Tenant organizing groups
- Affordable housing developers and providers
- Social service agencies and shelter operators
- Community Action Agencies
- Public Housing Authorities
- Housing industry businesses and professionals
- City and County governments
- Community-based nonprofits and advocacy groups
Our diverse membership spans the state, and is united by the belief that every Oregonian deserves a home that is affordable, stable, accessible and safe. Join our coalition!
We advocate for state-level policies and investments that advance a right to housing and an end to homelessness in Oregon. We develop our legislative priorities and organize our advocacy through three workgroups:
- Homelessness and Tenant Protections
- Land Use, Development and Preservation of Affordable Housing
- Homeownership and Asset-Building
Our logo is designed by Portland-based artist Jax Ko.
It is inspired by artwork that Jax created for the 2023 annual summit of Residents Organizing for Change.
