The Legislature’s past investments in affordable housing production and preservation have resulted in tens of thousands of Oregon families having stable, affordable homes today. We are making steady progress in addressing our housing crisis.
Please join us in calling on Oregon’s leaders to stay the course in the 2025-2027 state budget. Your voice is critical in securing bond resources to build new affordable homes โ for both rental and homeownership โ and to preserve our state’s existing affordable housing.
Critical Investments Needed:
- $680M in general obligation bonds to build affordable rental homes through the LIFT and permanent supportive housing (PSH) programs
- $260M to preserve existing rental housing and prevent its conversion to market-rate
- $25M in lottery bonds to preserve manufactured housing parks
- $100.9M in general obligation bonds to build affordable homes for first-time homebuyers
- $100M in lottery bonds for the Housing Infrastructure Fund
Take action now! Send a message to members of the Oregon Legislature’s Joint Subcommittee on Capital Construction and top legislative leaders. It only takes 3 minutes to make your voice heard.
